I blame the NSW conspiracy. I'm not sure what that is.....but I'm sure they are at fault.

BCity scrum dominant....full stop.

Anyway what's your fucking story Pfitzy? You running for mod and trying to drum up support from the smaller states?

yes, the NSW conspiracy poached all the good locally born and developed players in Perth.
we continue to succeed with the conspiracy.

BTW. "NSW". is that in Sydney?

Zero credit to the winning team claiming that if they were fresh they would have just "smashed them".

Well, they beat the Rising IN Melbourne AND the Rising smashed seven shades of shit out of Bris City.

So its not an unreasonable assumption, despite the topsy-turvy nature of the comp, is it?

It's a problem when he repeats it 4 times & doesn't acknowledge that the better team won. Jesus he has more excuses & whinges than the Saffas during Super rugby season.
Fact is Perth is far away from bloody everywhere, if they want to play they'll just have to suck up the travel factor.
Good on them for making the final, but no cigar. The trophy has landed in the right state.

Nah I just thought the trophy would be a great thing for either Perth or Melbourne to have. Given the difference in approach, I thought maybe Perth were in the right ........uh ....... spirit with their selections. o_O

Besides which, I've already warned the mods that they don't want me in their ranks. Be a lot less activity on the forum that way.

Plus I'm not sure how banning oneself for breaking the rules works out ;)

Melbourne smashed seven shades of shit out of everyone till the last hurdle. Whats your point?

Obviously the set-piece played a major part, but City's defence was outstanding.

Awesome work by Laloifi.

It was all down to the rats tail.

Though a forward would never get away with it.

Get your hand off it. "Oh x team beat y team that beat z team so x must be better than z!"

The game between these two was a close contest in Perth last time wasn't it? That's probably a better indication.

The golden rule of sports is that as soon as the final whistle goes, no excuses for the loss. It doesn't reflect well. The better team won.

Let's face it, the game could have gone either way for about 70 minutes. Was exactly what you could want from a grand final.
