The Brumbies are really well drilled at the moment.

I can't see any possible way the Reds can even compete in this match.

I think the Reds will run out there with a lot of intent. They will have "spoken a lot this week" about "the way we want to play the game" and "focussed a lot on our structures", but it will not materialise in any way on the field other than a lot of Red's passion (I do believe the guys are trying very hard on the field).

I will be surprised if we even score a single point, because the Brumbies don't seem to be conceding many tries this year, we can't seem to score any tries, and we don't appear to have a solid place kicker (although I think Frisby kicked a bit in the NRC if I recall correctly).

Our defence at the moment is nonexistent and the Brumbies attack has been red hot. Not a great combination from the Reds perspective.

I am tipping the Brumbies to win.

By a lot.

I will be there again - shouting for them to win, yelling at the ref to get the Brumbies back onside, and then sitting there in abject misery at the end of the match and wonder why I am doing it to myself.

I used to get excited near the end of the week - but from mid way through last season I have just looked at the weekend with a mixture of fear and dread thinking about what poor performance i would be enduring once more.

:(

Reds: Give me something to hope for FFS.

I'll be there yelling my head off as always but in my head I'll be repeatedly reciting the following in my head

Holmes...Simmons...Quade...Kerevi...JOC (James O'Connor)...Holmes....Simmons...Quade...Kerevi...JOC (James O'Connor)

Do we reckon Taps has ever played 15 before? I mean ever.

I'm not criticising the selection as RG clearly wants experience on the field, but I just can't for the life of me think of a situation where he would have played fullback.

Taps has played 10 club and U20's level. I would have thought he would have been a better option than Frisby. I think Frisby would have been a better option at 15.

RG might do a last minute switcharoo again at the last moment - not much else to pull out of the hat such as a plan:)

It's just stared raining here. I remember what happened in 2011 when it rained.

Best that it be called off and the points just split between the two teams.

LUCKY FOR YOU, BRUMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!

The handicap in that game was larger to the Reds than it is to the Brumbies now. Upsets do happen.

I've seen Fainga'a play flyhalf before as well, at 1st grade and Brumby runner level*.

Doesn't mean he'd be any good in this grade of footy, though i'd love to see it just for shits and giggles.

*I feel I should add that he was surprisingly good at it, far exceeded anyone's expectations. Like a trimmed down Wilkinson.

I think this is a very important game for the Brumbies' backline. Time to make a statement and reinforce their claims to the Wallabies' starting spots.

Gel, you got all the words absolutely spot on, I am getting in early and picking you for our next coach. We'll all be back here talking about it when this professional Brumbies outfit puts us to the sword tonight.

I'll be there screaming my lungs out praying for something that is not total slop from the Reds.

Sleight is a good super player but was shit in green and gold

I reckon the Brums will only get 1 back line starter and even then izzy will probably get that spot

I hope the Brumbies show pity on the Reds and keep the score under 50.

Can not see the Reds showing up tonight...

I Hope I'm wrong,

The Brums are awesome ATM
The Reds need a miracle tonight based on form.

I just hope for an Act of God and the Big Bloke looks down favourably on Suncorp

My question for the Reds rusted-on is do you wish for the miracle win, which may only be a one off and prolong the pain, or in your red hearts want to see the Brumbies execute the floundering Reds and open the door for change?

Just to add to your ethical and moral dilemma, knowing its a WC year we should add in some prospective that needs to be considered: are the Reds players who are potentially on the WC selection radar being perceived as under performing in a poor team based on outcomes, or would a regime change see them viewed as player with individual talents working to rebuild a team and increase their WC selection prospects?

The only Reds likely to make the Wallaby matchday 23 at this stage are Slipper, Simmons and Cooper, two of which won't be back for another two weeks anyway. Genia, Horwill are also outside chances I guess, with Holmes an even more outside chance, and he's another still out.

Plenty of time to get rid of Graham and have a form bounce back, but unfortunately Graham may not be gone mid season.
