Kurtley Beale was named Man of the Match on the Very Big Screen.

How embarassing. You really have to wonder about the people who voted for it.

I was on my way to the car park by that stage, after the 4th try I couldn't handle any more punishment.

How would that be possible? Beale was probably the worst on the park.

Robinson needs to be stronger in contact. Watching a prop being driven back by small backs is painful.

Would be nice to watch a Tahs game without Kearns fellating them at every opportunity, too.

When Beale does his stutter step and kangaroo hop, he is setting himself up to be smashed by a quick defensive rush. It happened a few times tonight and like the whole team, he didn't learn from his mistakes.

Fuck, Beale was far from the problem tonight. With static ball and a brick wall defence he is always going to struggle- Folau did too, with the exception of one linebreak (Beale also made a nice break himself which set up the Horne try).

Issues came from our big boppers being unable to get over the gainline. Dennis, Hooper, Jacpot, Kepu, Robbo all didn't do enough with ball in hand.

I will agree that Beale was not the problem but I take great exception to him being named best on ground in what was a bit of a flogging.

True, our lack of forward penetration was the big problem, and none of the backs did much (except Horne) but seriously, how was he the MOTM? He just wasn't. It's just a rank decision by someone.

Mate, it wasn't a lack of "grunt".

The skills were terrible. Passes above the shoulder all night. Lineout was beyond poor.

There was enough posession to win 2 games.

Foley was bad. Beale was worse.

Disagree. It wasn't just a lack of grunt, but grunt was most definitely lacking. Few forwards came from any depth on the ball, too flat-footed and upright. That's a lack of grunt.
Agree 100% about the poor skill level and execution.
