It's alright HJ - you can look up the results at Juniors Rugby website!

Oh that's right, the Representative tab is still showing '2014 rep teams to be announced!'

Maybe they might update their website before 2015 comes to an end.

Or at least put up the draw and the results for this long weekend's SJRU champs.

The silence is deafening I presume some big blow outs. With not much competition for Gordon in the 15s.

@Shane Smeltz, the Junior State Champs are a NSW JRU not a SJRU "event", even though most of the SJRU committee do a hell of a lot of coordination work to make it happen.

The results of this weekend should be on the NSW JRU web site not the SJRU one.

You do raise a valid point that both the SJRU and NSW JRU web sites do need more regular updating. But you must realise that there is only so much work that the unpaid interns and overworked volunteers can do in the time available.

I'm struggling to believe that there is no Gaggerlanders at any of the JSC locations, or that there is no SJRU, NSW CJRU or NSW JRU snout lurking on here that doesn't recognise the benefits of recording their JSC results on G&GR - Australia's Premium Grass Roots Rugby Website, Blog and Forum.

The draw is up on http://www.nswjuniors.rugbynet.com.au/

That is a start.

With the omnipresent Facebook and twitter (and the general ignorance of the omnipresence of Facebook and twitter and other hashtag like young persons stuff) there should be links to live updates from those sources from the NSW JRU web site. Everyone has a smart phone don't they?

In 2015 punters (including us old fuddy duddys) demand instant information. Aunty Joolia and Papa Rudd promised us this with the broadband and need to invest $50b+ in the NBN revolution to get us out of the GFC. Would a politician tell us porkies?

The results for the U17s were:

Metro
Penrith 14 d Southern Districts 5
Parramatta 28 d Warringah 5
Southern Districts 17 d West Harbour 7
Warringah 15 d Eastwood 7
Penrith 24 d West Harbour 5
Parramatta 12 d Eastwood 5

Penrith looked the pick of the sides following on from where they left off last year. They were challenged by Southern Districts who were also impressive, this pool with West Harbour appeared to be the stronger. Parramatta were solid without being impressive with a couple of long distance tries at the end of the Warringah game blowing out the score. Warringah were very spirited and good over the ball without the size of the other teams. Eastwood were down on players and struggled with their attack.

Country
Central Coast 17 d Central North 0
Far North Coast 14 d Central West 12
Central Coast 12 d Far North Coast 7
Hunter 5 d Central West 3
Far North Coast 13 d Central North 5
Hunter 14 d Central Coast 8
Far North Coast 24 d Hunter 7

Far North Coast looked the most likely in the Country pool finishing off their day with a great win over Hunter.

I wanted to put in a word about how tight the Country Championships are. In the two losses that Central West incurred, not only were they both by two points, in both, they were leading at the final bell only to be pipped at the last second.

This is the closest country champs I've seen in this age group and it's great to see.

Edited to fix autocorrect errors.

Day 1 Under 17 results here:
http://www.nswjuniors.rugbynet.com.au/verve/_resources/U17_amended_draw_and_results.pdf
In addition to the scores from @Blindside63 above, it appears that there was a 0 - 0 draw between Central West and Central North

The silence is deafening I presume some big blow outs. With not much competition for Gordon in the 15s.
On the contrary - very competitive here in Mudgee. The 15 min halves have proven a great leveller.

Norths beat Parra 12 - 5 to get to semi v warringah. Gordon won all of their pool matches to make the other semi v Parra, but looked rusty. Parra looked big, fast and fit, and had everyone worried. The Gordon v parra match was the best u15s match I've seen, with both sides tearing into the rucks and throwing bodies on the line in defence. After being trapped in their try line for much of the first half, Gordon managed to get into parra half for the first time and an individual bit of magic from the Gordon winger, Smithkicking a grubber in behind the defence saw the other Gordon winger, Cameron, score in the corner. A very fine conversion and a penalty kick by 15, Glascott, and it was all over at 10-0.

Norths easy winners over Warringah by 30+ to make the metro final v Gordon at 1pm today. Should be a cracking match.

Illawarra play Central Coast in the final of the country champs at 1220.

I assume that it is like the U16's and you've gone into 3 rounds of pool matches (incl country and city teams) - not sudden death.
