Right. have had another look at game and not from crouching position behind sofa this time. Seems in my unbiased opinion that England cocked up in at least the following. Playing Burgess. Taking Youngs off. Lack of fitness. crap management of replacements and a complete brainfart at the end chucking ball to robshaw at front of lineout up against charteris.

My point being that some of these things can be rectified for Australia. Cmon. Wales needs you to win (but not by too much!)

Certainly sets up the England v Australia clash next weekend as an absolutely massive game.

Australia wins and we're through to the quarter finals and England are out.

England wins and Australia is teetering on the brink of elimination and would have to win against Wales by a particular margin and potential 4 try bonus point.

England coach looks like Arnold J Rimmer.

and whist we're on the never-seen-in-the same-place-together thing. Hows this for Sam warburton?

And we shouldn't forget that a bashed up Wales side has to take on a relatively fresh Fiji side in a few days time too.

That was absolutely wonderful. Fabulous result. Feel so so sorry for Amos and the Williamses.

They just completely got that last 5m lineout wrong. Biggar was absolutely immense.

Don't agree. He got over the gain line with just about every touch. The issue is he doesn't pass (he does try to 'unload') and he has no kicking game, so he's used as crash ball or a decoy, nothing more. It's predictable and suits England's game when they're getting good breakdown ball and dominating the set piece. However if they don't have momentum, or the opposition plays at pace, he's like the rest of his team -- large and cumbersome. Reckon he's a very good 6 playing 12.

Unfortunately for Burgess and RFU, Orcland have v good backrow forwards already. How much did they spend on him?

in truth poorly. If they had won for the one-eyed poodle press he'd have been the new messiah. So unfortunately for Australia he wont start

Blue, where's the Positivity Gnome now. So he was not the off loading wrecking ball England hoped him to be. This was more from your Boyo's playing all over him. A truly inspired effort from the back row and inside backs. He'll get another go I reckon.
