Sound the alarm. It's jailbreak time. The Paremoremo inmates have breached the walls and are heading down the southern motorway.

20 000 Waikato dairy farmers are not happy.

It's all The Ducks fault.

But wait, The Opotiki Police stop the breakout on the Pukekohe hills (inspired by the ghost of Poppy the GOAT). Cruden grabs some meat to reduce the deficit to 15-20 after 52 minutes.

McKenzie. That's some Scottish right there, sorry Hugh, Scott Johnson will be offering the choice of any Maiden in Scotland soon enough. Unfortunately they're all 14 or younger, so it won't work.

Plenty of Scottish ancestry in Australia.

..and Cruden shows he has a bit of razzle dazzle as well! 3 awesome tries in a row right there!

Great solo try by AC but he really had to get there having failed to offload to Lowe. DMac's kick is astray again, 15-20.

Suspect the Chiefs are going to get home. They've made a habit lately of winning these close ones. While the Blues normally find a way to...............

Brodie should've just got the Tribe home, it'll be 29-20 & only two min on the clock. Chiefs now have a try BP, too, I think. Yup.

Bloos should take the three here & get a BP of their own. They do. West nails it, FT Chiefs 29-23 Bloos & a BP each. Great game, Bloos gonna hurt some people in the next few weeks............

That wasn't too shabby as a game, Blues didn't really surprise me that much, you know they were going to tear into Chiefs, it a given! I suspect the Ngatai injury hurt the Chiefs a bit, old Beaver gives it everything, but he looks a little laboured at 12, I think a Lienert-Brown coming on may not have caused as much disruption, but thems the breaks. Quietly a little impressed with young Weber's defence, he's going ok!!

EASILY the greatest 10-minute spell of Super Rugby this decade.

I was still busy roaring like a wild-eyed spacco on the floor after the first try when the second one came.

Then I had a full-blown heart attack in my brain.

EASILY the greatest 10-minute spell in recorded rugby history.

Akira Ioane subs on and it's man vs boys. Right in front of Steve Hansen too. Shoehorn the pie-mad Ioane bastard in somewhere for the Wales tests, that wasnt the Opotiki Under 12's forward pack he was running rampant over.

2 home games coming up? Whoever the fuck the opponents are, THIS WAY TO EDEN PARK PLEASE:

Credit to the Blues for executing their game plan very well but when the Chiefs get around to watching the video I think they'll be shaking their heads at some poor skill execution and an alarming turnover rate at the breakdown (having said that I thought Sam Cane stole a few quite well). Future opponents of the Chiefs will be taking copious notes from the video.

Reiko Ioane was the best of the wingers tonight and Akira Ioane had some great defender-shedding runs when he made an appearance. Disappointed in Moala who is even bigger in real life than he seems on TV but seemed reluctant to test the defence.

The Chiefs' dynamic duo get a pass mark and no doubt they will be hoping to benefit from faster transitions in future.

A great game to watch from row E. Enthusiastic crowd support for both teams in a very nice stadium.

All in all an entertaining match, some cracking tries. I agree WOB, the Bloos are going to surprise both their fans and a few teams sooner or later. (eg they play most of the Oz franchises before the end of the season!)

Who's on Dismal Pillock watch? I'm concerned for his well-being.
