British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand (2017)

For me Lions are too close to England to support. As wrong as this sounds (even to me) I want the All-Blacks to win and win by embarrassingly large margins. The rest of the world needs to understand what we deal with all the time. Also have an English mate who is a bit too cocky at the moment.
I'm with you....apart from the cocky English mate.

I think we have to stand with our southern neighbours on this one....

I want to see an unprecedented humiliation of the Lions, supported by an absolute masterclass in attacking rugby from the AB's.

I also feel that the Lions deserve such punishment by re-appointing Gatland, and his Welsh heavy squad selection despite them being the weakest of the four nations.

And it's my general rule that you support anyone playing against England, which this team is also largely made up of.

How does the quote about Lions lead by donkeys go again? :)

Good to see some reciprocal ANZAC solidarity, pretty much everyone in NZ goes for the Wobs v Poms & there's not too much love for the Welsh in these parts, either, let me tell ya.

Even as a former fullback I'm thoroughly enjoying the close-in crash ball from the pack and midfielders. A good recovery after the Lions almost went over in the 2nd minute.

The Lions have very little variety in attack - hit it up a few times then box kick. It won't beat the ABs. ABs are making the gain line nearly every carry.

Every kick is contested
Every clearing kick in the 22 is reaching close to the half way line.
Both teams.
We are so far behind in that part of out game - it needs to become a priority.
A pleasure to watch.

That's one for the referees thread! Half has hands on the ball but the ref said he's still untouchable
