Well said Mate.
I haven’t been a huge fan of DC’s ability to manage the development of players, but he isn’t alone there in Australian rugby over the last decade. As a prop that played in 3 different countries, I do think they got young Barrett just about right this year. I went and watched my...
Everyone has an opinion but men stand up and admit when they were wrong. It was a rubbish argument from the go, as the young fella had a strong debut and mate what more do you expect of a 20 year old front rower to get that taste and go back and dominate in his age range?
In my opinion he is...
Funny how that ‘second grader’ held his own against better opposition in his debut and has since gone on to be one of only 3 Aussies selected in the U20 4 Nations Team of the Tournament.
Your entire argument about the Shute Shield players went up in smoke. There is a good reason why they were...
Like every single one of them that tried to step up to the Waratahs. That rubbish that you were so adamant about at the expense of the young stars of the next generation. Your shute shield players were woeful
Yea
Yeah let’s bring in someone with a 45% winning record. That’s exactly what we don’t need. Yes tough and amazing career as a player, but 100% not the coach we need. Let’s draw a line at a minimum of 50%
Waratahs need a hard nosed approach from someone like Cheika. The guy took Argentina to a WC semi final, along with provincial championships. He is a winner and his record stands up next to anyone. Tim Horan said exactly the same thing overnight. The Waratahs, like it or hate it, are the key...
We need experienced and with a profile. Maybe some of you live with your head up your ass, but Waratahs have been woeful for a decade and have no profile.
They have some real talent coming and coming through at the 19-23 age group. This generation has been a failure like none before them and...
Pnut you stayed very quiet about the Props that were bought in from club land in Sydney and overseas. They were an absolute joke, young Jack’s performance now gets to be shown for exactly what it was now that we have had the chance to see how your choices would perform.
On top of that the young...
The Waratahs simply have no choice but to go all in on an experienced and world class coach. They have some great young talent and with the demise of the Rebels and some luck with injuries, they can put a top 4 side together for 25.
The missing link for 20’years has been that coach.
As a country we have no problems producing enough backs, everyone wants to score tries and be the pretty boy.
It’s the undervaluing of the 1-8 that we have done so badly for 25 years. The backs get the higher contracts young, they do less hard work and get most of the glory as we see here time...
When any Australian team gets back to our DNA of running the ball, we’re always at our best.
Def the ABs were the better team, their first yellow card was an atrocious decision and the second 50/50 at best.
I def think our replacements were totally outmatched by the ABs.
All the same great...
