IMHO the View / TKS game will provide a good feel for next years champions as both have sides with a majority of yr 11's and a good under 16 group in 2013. With TKS having scored 73 points in the last two weeks and with their backs finally starting to click, it's TKS by 5 points.

Cameron King could probably move from 8 (16A's) to 5 to form a good second row with George Lehmann in the 2014 TKS team

I think enough has been said about the Joeys/Kings U16A game, what about the 1st XV, a great game with no conjecture in the result, in fact if the TKS goal kicking had been anything to write home about TKS could have cracked the 60 mark.

A very good game of rugby between Kings and Joeys today, joeys up 14-0 early but Kings came back with power and excellent ball skills in the back line. kings dominant in the loose, over shadowing Joeys significantly at the breakdown. kings scrum also dominant especially when Sandell injured...

Maybe George Philip could be there but problem with TKS in 2013 has been defence in the back line, this will need to be significantly improved in 14 and will need blokes with big hearts and big bodies to execute, Philip maybe a bit light.

    A potential Kings side for 2014 1) James King (1sts) 2) Jonno Burke (1sts) 3) Jim Lee (1sts) 4) ? 5) George Lehmann (1sts) 6) Dave Ballantyne (1sts) 7) Toby Moore (2nds) 8) Hugh Taylor (1sts/2nds) 9) Daniel McQueen (1sts/2nds) 10) Hugh Yates (1sts/2nds) 11) ? 12) James Kane (1sts) 13) Jacob...

IMHO Kings will be the team to beat next year, with just about their whole forward pack back and a very strong 16a cohort it will be between TKS, Scots and Riverview.

Kings likely to be a very strong contender in 2014 with all of their forwards coming back with the exception of Mcalman and Stacey, young forward pack has also acquitted themselves well in this years comp with vulnerability being out wide in 2013.

Having watched the TKS/Joeys game I was most impressed with the Joeys attack out wide, TKS we certainly left wanting in defence in the back 3. TKS dominated in the scrums but had a bit of difficulty in the line outs in H1, seemed to have rectified in H2, a game of 2 halves where Joeys got out to...
