Round 10: Waratahs v Chiefs. Friday 26th April 7:35 pm

Surprised that Harrison hasn't been elevated to 10, but perhaps they're looking for him to provide some spark later in the game alongside Holloway and Gleeson.

Are you kidding? The FFA and A-leagues (and even more so their media acolytes) have an insufferable superiority complex and continually assume they're going to be the number 1 sport in Australia in the next couple of years - that's why it's OK to burn millions of PE money.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

FTA absolutely thinks reality TV is the present and future - they can produce several hours of prime-time TV per week for a fraction of the cost of a single hour of high-quality drama. What's not to love? (for a TV network). And the top shows generate a hell of a lot of engagement on social...

Waratahs Women v Brumbies Women Semi Final: Allianz Stadium, Sydney: Friday 19th April

I was there, it was a great evening. No doubt I’m wearing blue glasses, but the skills and game plan on display from the Tahs was excellent. They can really capitalise on a wide break. And very interesting to see Waiaria Ellis deployed as the playmaker when she came on, with McKenzie moving to...

5:55pm kickoff in Perth, sunset 5:51pm - the aerial shots of the stadium will look amazing. The afternoon kickoffs worked well for Allianz Stadium in Sydney - was that the Ireland test a few years ago, in the old stadium? - because you can make a day of it around Paddington and surrounds. Not...

Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

Feeling punchy, Pfitzy? More importantly, thanks for bringing this thread back to the top - it needs to stay there for another couple of weeks or so.

Let's wait until the end of the season to be sure, as the Kiwi sides tend to finish strong, at which point the Aussie sides are struggling with depth. But it certainly seems more positive.

    Waratahs 2024

I don't think talent ID is the issue in relation to those three players - with Pietsch and Gleeson, the concern is more that they haven't improved much. But they have plenty of talent. Perese is good, I don't see any issue there. And whilst the screen plays look pedestrian, the Tahs have made a...

Waratahs v Crusaders, Friday 12th April, in Sydney

Ned Slack-Smith's ongoing concussion issue must be a concern. But great to see Gleeson and Hanigan back.

    Waratahs 2024

Is Reilly signed beyond this year? If so, I don't think he needs time for development as such, I'm happy with the Tahs picking either him or Mark for the remainder of the season. Next year will be very different anyway with Kellaway and Sua'ali'i joining. But then, if we're writing this season...

It needs to be more frequent than every four years, but this would be awesome - an actual option that might increase interest in Super Rugby.

Well, congrats to him on what he achieved. A great guy, and some special moments for the Tahs and the Reds.
