Scots 22-0 over Joeys in the 3rds. Joeys got 5 yellow cards in an utterly disgraceful referring performance. Regardless, Scots will be very hard in beat

Joeys teams normally very well-disciplined - 5 yellow cards for one team in one match? Unusual to say the least.

Full time Scots 101 - 0
Just been on the phone with a New parent who was at the game. New were very disappointing. They let in a lot of very soft tries. Silly handling errors. Missing numerous one on one tackles. Scots were obviously the better team, but New just didn't look like they were there to play and didn't even get the basics right.

Riverview 26-Shore-20. Great game of rugby, View snatched victory in the last 5 minutes.

SGS 46 v NC 0
New were ordinary except for the last 15 mins. They are a much better team than that but just aren't getting it together. SGS had good structure and sent the ball to the right spots, a smart side. While they were the much better team (as were SBS last week) forward packs seems to have free reign in the rucks. Lots of unpenalised hand and playing the ball off the feet.

The SGS 2nd VX v New 4ths was a terrific game. SGS won 10-0 but it was very enjoyable and some great efforts put in from both sides.

A score like 52 - 6 shows total dominance or great weakness. Didn't see the game but games with those scores are a little embarrassing to watch generally and leave the crowd in no doubt of the superiority of the winning team.

52-6 suggests Cranbrook would come third in the GPS, doesn't it?

(Yes, I know Scots were under strength. But still. Look how Shore and Newington have gone against Scots)

I know that this sounds like small consolation, but things will even themselves out next year in the Firsts. It also shows just how hard those Shore boys tried against Scots. Does any body know the results of the High game?
