Interest and a lot of talk about the U13's this year for sure.....with good reason. IGS and BSHS showing very strong A teams with IGS in particular showing great depth from A - C's. The 13 year at IGS were undefeated with 1152 for and 101 against led by the A's with only 14 points against...
Maybe check through the results of the U13 IGS Team (U12 Last year)....not sure if its a case of kids developing early etc.....the core team is the same as last year with a handful of new players this year - keeping in mind 50 point victories were the norm last year. Note the B's & C's are...
Who updates the Fox Pulse site?.......pretty sure the H/T score BGS / IGS 13A was 70-0.........good work BGS holding IGS 13A to 18 points in the full second half?......
Real Deal....not I that stated Churchie 13A's were the best forward pack in comp but thought against IGS....regardless of the score .....they stood up and played a good technical game which killed the reliance on the big men IGS served up against BBC the week before. Am guessing BSHS 13's...
It was the attack this week for the IGS 13A's created by offloads. There was less barnstorming runs from the big boy's as they were contained fairly well by the Churchie forwards - the points came mainly through offloads in the tackle and quick passing outwards. The defence in close from...
GO - yes the 8 is quite the bulldozer and picks up valuable metres however this tends to be on the back of metres gained by a pretty handy front row. What I noticed on the weekend between the BBC & IGS 13A's was a consistent gain of 5-10 metres by the front row - sucking the forwards in - then...
Really good hit out between BSHS and IGS 13's today......neither full strength but near to it. Season fixture should be a cracker. There are some big boys and quick lads on both sides. Good displays of skill on show in mild / cold slippery conditions.
The rush / sliding defense vanished in the second half which provided 10, 12 & 13 the space and time needed - the first half they appeared a little 'cramped' The individual try by the 'assassin on the wing' was fantastic to watch. Great Carnival by all in the U13 age group - congrats to those...
They smoked Kenmore , leaders of Div 2 , by 40 something points and he and their 8 were basically a wrecking crew with 4 or 5 Div 1 quality supports and the rest fringe Div 1 / Div 2 players.
The new outside back at Rangers has provided previously lacking size & pace in the centre...
Seems a lot of talk in the U13 group this year in Brisbane..............the way I see it......Firstly Yes! there are two teams that would appear to stray from the 'pick by region' and 'overflow as required' approach of year's passed.......why......who knows? & I see two teams that have been...
Could be a 4 horse race then......knew BSHS scored a plenty but glad to see BBC had a good hit out against GT. TGS v IGS 13's trials last week - B's ended 7 tries to 0 to IGS with the IGS A's (minus a few players) win 13 tries to zip in a shortened match.....
Will be a three horse race......GT have formed a strong squad with a good 10 supported by some talented outside backs....IGS have a few new lads to compliment the big and quick side from last year while BSHS have a combined Union (at least 3 or more Div 1 BJRU teams represented) and proven...
