I have it on good authority that Simonsson may have been homesick earlier in the year when suffering from Glandular Fever, but he is happily contracted to the Bulldogs and is enjoying his time with Newington college. He is not going anywhere next year!

Difficult year for Marist college rugby with 60 odd players down from normal and struggling to field 3 senior sides. AFL and League take it's toll on a school that does not make it compulsory to play sport if league is chosen. Certainly a year to rebuild with good junior sides coming through.
