Lets not forget about st Augustines also within a second of Shore in both races. From what I've heard they're quite a young crew so good to see some competition from outside GPS
I for one would like to see the competition perhaps take a leaf out of the American college book and have a few 1 on 1 match races over longer distances such as 5k. Nepean would be perfect for this.

I counted 13 ISA players in the NSW teams, including shadow players, not a bad turnout considering the way in which the competition is often overlooked. What I really want want to know though is what philli has to say about Donny Freeman making NSW 1's?
Good to see that the competition is well and truly opening up. If results from the weekend are a sign we should be in for a treat of close games all season. Definitely hard to go past Stannies as favourites for the title though.
Looks as though the 2's comp will be a tough fought battle as well.
