As a pro watcher in these markets , can you give an idea of the status of the current schoolboys squads to represent Aust this year in regards their scholship status ,league status etc
Aust Schools new players
Just wondering if all these backs are out or injured
Hamiso tabuai
Clyde Rappilla
Jangalla bennett
Villiami lea
Not to mention the outher outside backs selected for Qld 1 and 2 from non GPS schools
How about instead of coaches putting forward their picks before the comp begins
That the opp. Coach puts forward after each game 3 forwards and 3 backs these could all then be correlated to form a team picked mostly on form without as much bias
Plenty of down days to get teams forming, this...
ACT by far and away showing true character on the field compared to the "superstars"
"who will explain to these young men that guts and character aren't what the selectors are looking for.
I really hope i am wrong about the ACT boys regarding the future national team,
have to wait till Sat...
Qld 1 staff are giving their inside backs every opportunity to make Australian sides
I don't think the 9 has missed more the 10 mins, the 10 the same ( only when injured) the 12 has played every minute, the 13 all but 30 mins
And the 15 hasn't missed a minute
All this despite being the most...
Seems another 10 is everyones favourite for selection in the Australian team no matter how poorly he directs his team down the field
This might be a way to get this young man in and appease all "stakeholders"
People have mentioned playing times min requirements, where are these rules?
the players are not aware of them, one person says 60 the other 90
, is this all some of these young men will get to shine, along with the strong possibility not even in a position they been crafting for years
ACT by...
Lots of tries went begging with players trying "to hard" and pushing and dropping balls
ACT got a lot of ball at the ruck while our boys waited in the backline for some attacking opportunity
Hope we go better than last year
Hopefully a more team orientated game on Wednesday
Last year player dislocated shouldet in his first game,
Shadow brought into camp after advice that player would not be able to compete further
Injured player had to leave camp
To make way for new player
They didnt play them,i think the the GPS 1 team would have done to CSS what they did to the other teams
CSS did beat the GPS 2 team
Who managed twice the rep positions
The GPS 2 team also struggled to beat the chairmans team
It was pretty clear the gap between GPS 1 and the other GPS teams
GPS 1 best at trials, undefeated
20 players selected
CSS clearly second best team at trials, undefeated
6 players selected
GPS 2 lost 2 won 1
GPS 3 win, draw, loss
Both below par
16 players selected
AIC lost 2 drew 1
Very poor
4 players selected
Hard yards if not in GPS system
