Holland for me, the KaasKoppe has taken Paarl to the cleaners, camping just outside town in their 1000s and hoping they'll stay.

Germany for sure. They are playing ruthless football. The only other sporting team in the world that play with a similar type of attitude is the All Blacks.

The only difference is that the Germans are World Cup specialists, and the All Blacks, well, aren't. :)

The Germany/Argies game was the first game of soccer I've watched from start to finish on TV in about 5+ years. The first half particularly was just awesome, and exciting, stuff.

Agreed. Germany simply dismantled them. I was watching it surrounded by Germans, as it happens, and their sheer innocent delight in watching their team tear Argentina apart was rather delightful.

First semi, 3-2 to Jan Kaas & (VO) Compagnie.

Dutchmen thriving in the Cape - who'd have seen that one coming...? ;)

Wait there's a soccer world cup on? Nah, I jest. I was rooting for Argentina because they destroyed France at rugby, but now I am rooting for spain.(
