After some counsel with the stats team, we have decided to create the following,
Many thanks to those who assisted and suggested.

Rules for The AAGPS Tipping Comp:

1. There are ONLY 45 Slots in the Competition.

2. All tipsters are welcome to post their tips on the Tipping thread (not the main AAGPS thread), regardless of whether they have been allocated a slot or not.

3. A tipster without a current slot becomes a Reserve, in the order in which they submitted their first tip.

4. Only the 45 current slot holders will appear on the weekly Competition Table. Scores for Reserves are recorded and held in reserve in case a slot opens up.

5. If a tipster misses his tips in any week, he earns ZERO points for that week but retains their slot.

6. If a slot holder misses 3 consecutive weeks his slot is forfeit and a reserve will fill his Slot. If a Reserve misses 3 consecutive weeks, he is out.

This means of course that any prospective tipster who has not yet "joined" has only this Round 3 to submit tips and thereby become a Reserve. After this Round, no-one can join (because they've missed 3 on the trot) unless Joker grants a special dispensation (accompanied by an appropriate bribe)

You're No56 in the pecking order, and unless you put tips in for this Round you'll be disqualified on the 3-misses-you're-out rule. The longer you leave it the further down you'll slip. The good news is it looks like there'll be a few slots opening up with 3-peat tip-missers this week.

Joker and Ace. It’s a burden but I speak for the Forum in thanking you for the time collating and running the tipping comp. A cracka year is in progress and whoever takes out Tipping in 2025 is a Rugby gun are just bloody lucky. This week will sort out the men from the boys. Tip on!

This may be possible.
The tipping comp in 2025 has grown so much that it takes a team to run it now.
