What happened to Ala'alatoa by the way? Will he play next week or are we without Tupou, him, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) (Harry Johnson-Holmes)?
Looked like a pretty heavy concussion - I wouldn’t say the odds are in his favour

He was never going to do anything about it until the play was stopped and the TMO wanted to have a look in slow motion.

We simply must fix the game, shit like this and the double handed push to the face of Swain misses earlier can be dealt with post game. Give them a fine for or a game if it warrants it and move on.

Being down a man for more than half the game for that kills the spectacle.
Personally I would give the referees more discretion and live with the perceived inconsistency.

No he didn’t get it right

This is what’s wrong with the game

You hear him warn the Pom as it happens thinks nothing more of it and goes back 5 minutes later to look at it with the TMO

It is terrible for the game. It’s pathetic. Why not blow the penalty at the time? Because he knows there is nothing in it.

Terrible officiating
Letter of the law the referee is spot on. If you’ve got an issue with it, direct it to the right place, not the bloke doing his job.

He obviously isn’t right as he has called it both ways champ.

If you want to go the soft TMO interpretation the ref is at fault as he saw it and only issues a warning instead of controlling the game and doing his job.

Champ, righto bud!

Hair pulling is a yellow with possible ban; a headbutt is a red. Doesn’t matter what you think, those are the facts.
