Well it looks like the season is starting up again, at least in NSW. The most intense and beer friendly sport finally makes a break into Green and Gold. If you know someone, invite them to have a good banter with the fellas.

Lets kick this off with some classic surf boat carnage


With the new regulations coming in will we ever see this again?

Or will we be enslaved by health and safety into rowing in 6 (inch) surf at
Umina with helmets, life-vests and floaties on our arms?

Perhaps a move to SIRC would satisfy those in charge of safety?

I believe the potential for side to side wind at SIRC is too high, perhaps an indoor pool, is SOPAC available?
