You are dead right. Quade is a great bloke, just not the most intelligent and is easily led. He has a great support network at the Reds and to lose that would spell great trouble for him.

Imagine the howls of derision if Cooper leaves now!

With Sanchez signing on, it increases the pressure on QC to do the right thing. But if he does go then we will have a proper Real Madrid of Aus Rugby.

Difference is, Real Madrid has quality across the team. The Rebels (especially if Quade moved) only has quality in the backs. The money spent on Cippers and Quade would be better of used to another Hooker and back rowers.

    Criticism of Cooper is unreasonable

At the last Force home game last season the Force let the spectators onto the field post match. The players stayed back to sign autographs but were all behind a roped off section. A lot of Force players were present to sign autographs and have photos taken etc

There was hardly a Queenslander to be seen but Quade Cooper was at the front signing autographs and smiling and chatting and having photos. It was bitterly cold and he had some big games coming up. He was one of the last players to leave. He stayed longer than most of the home team

    He is a quality player

Cipriani is an A-Grade disaster who thinks only of himself. Melbourne will be better off without him

With Danny Cipriani's antics surfacing yet again, the time is right to unveil what I would term the Scumbag XV.

    1. Richard Loe – Paul Carozza eye gouge anyone?
    2. Dylan Hartley – Scumbag Northampton Saints player, currently banned for biting. He must have been hungry.
    3. Bees Roux – Cop Killing ex Bulls player
    4. Bakkies Botha – The king of grub. Honestly, it was between him and the bastard Martin Johnson.
    5. Ali Williams – Smart Arse, AAC tripping, all round dirty bastard All Black
    6. Schalk Burger – Well, He HAD to be on this list.
    7. Calum Clark – Currently serving a 32 week ban. Has a history of low acts on the field.
8.Troy Flavell – Head Stomping, eye gouging all round bastard ex All Black
    9. Matt Henjak – Ex Brumby and Force party guy. Partial to punching unaware teammates. Rubbish player.
    10. Danny Cipriani – Bingle rooting, hard drinking, booze stealing, bad playing party boy.
    11. Zac Guildford – Infamous for the naked bar fight in the Cook Islands. That, and the colonel sanders facial hair.
    12. Mike Tindall – Mong nosed bastard. How the hell did he manage to marry Zara Phillips??
    13. Will Carling – Infamous for a fling with Princess Di, what is it with Pommie centres and royalty?
    14. Tom Williams – This guy got banned in 2009 for popping a theatrical blood vial so he could go off as a blood bin. Classy.
    15. James O’Connor – Misses a team launch, wears Snapshift, Appears in Swisse ads, wants to set KPI’s for his employers, the list goes on.

The Scumbag XV includes players that were known for on and off field shenanigans. This list was incredibly hard to compile, and I am sure I have missed key 'players'.

Just quietly I think a few former and current Force players who used Quokas as discuss should be on that list too.

    Bit harsh to include JOC.

I don't think he will walk away, when he faught for the franchise I always thought he fancied himself a bit of a rockstar and the buying of the players the team has got has somehow reflected his want for that. It wouldn't surprise me if he was throwing money at Quade and lots of it, nor does it surprise me when rumors of senior players getting away with whats being said as he would prefer to bend team value than have the scandal or risk losing what he has collected (sorry, assembled)

JOC is a very young guy with a very large upside, it bothers me greatly that he is always around people with reputations of trouble and problems and that there are constant rumors about him holding himself above teammates and this around him. I wanna give him the benefit of doubt, but I just don't believe he wants fir a team and nit fir himself. Maybe it's generational and I'm just getting ok'd and out if touch, he just seems like a very har guy to like to me.

I'll miss Danny playing for us and wish him all the best as he goes home.

I am, however, very disappointed at the timing of this stuff, as any hope of Mark Gerrard's 100th game getting the respect it deserves have been flung out the window.

Noticed Quade was down here again recently, at an event with Buddy Franklin.

Now, I'm sure he's a top bloke, but for the love of God, please stay away from the Rebels.

I'm worried nobody in the Rebel organisation has the stones to take on certain players, or, a certain player. Hiring Quade can't help.

Just let the team play some rugby and avoid the headlines being elsewhere.

Wonder what has come of Rod McQueen in that respect? (notwithstanding the fact he is not the coach but some director of rugby..isn't he still involved with the Rebels?)

He's been off the news for awhile.

Bit of a harsh call to hold the first two against him isn't it?

Playing a significant role in beating your mob 25-24 last year is worth all the money.

Not by the supporters, f**k the media.

    This.

They are too worried about selling the Rebels as a marketing brand opposed to a club.

Beating a team going through self destruction by a point was worth throwing a whole lot of money on a player who has been nothing but trouble?

    Rebels' fans aiming low.

Why don't the rebels go after buddy franklin or even better, Cyril Rioli?

That would sure put some bums on seats at the stockade.

His had his moments on and off the field. At least he got on the field for a decent period, contributed significantly, more than I can say about Rocky.

Sitting near Rod McQueen at the last home game, I was astounded when one of the Rebel Directors publicly berated the World Cup winning coach a couple of times. I'd be surprised if he was around next season. For a bloke who had a reputation as a winner to suffer this, why would you bother?

And if the rumors of Michael Cheika coming to town are true, Hill and some of the assistants will be back at Sydney Uni next season.
