And how is that so exactly? Crowd figures for league over the past two years are hardly spectacular, and the game is struggling to advance beyond a snails pace internationally. In Australia, for the last two years it has been riding the back pages thanks to off field scandal after scandal.
The funny thing is that league is played in almost every school in the state but they have this huge chip on their shoulder that it isn't played in a GPS comp. IGS play in a league comp in term 4 every year so it's not like all the schools are against it.
And trying to get rugby played in some of the state schools is impossible. I tried for about 3 years with some of the schools on the south side of Brisbane and Logan and a lot of them had no interest in it.
International League games are just disapointing especially ones held in Brisbane. While Union ones are slightly worse than they were 5 years ago.
