We have resorted to the SportsDeck fantasy comp, which has decent prize money and it pretty good setup. I think it’s based on the AFL DreamTeam system. It’d be sweet if GAGR set up a group in there.

Also we have regularly run our own $$ comp for many years in Fox, however we are migrating it to the SportDeck. We currently have 4 vacancies and it’s $100 entry. It’s pretty good fun. DM me if anyone is up for it

Just dipping into the GAGR forums for the first time, likewise first time in the fantasy comp.

Been a long time reader of GAGR though more of a stalker than a talker.

Thought that would sound less creep because it rhymes.

Thanks, mate. Would like to participate more but I struggle to find the time to read all the comments, let alone contribute. Don’t know how the regulars like Nutta, KRL, Hoss, BL and Reg manage to do it!

I went to see what's happening with this for 2020 and they are trying to crowdfund to raise £8500 to run the comp this year. After Fox quit last year it seems Super Rugby just doesn't have the numbers to make it viable.

I quite enjoyed it last year so went to pledge (if you pledge £10 you get the paid upgrade pack free, with extra stats etc) but they're only about 10% of the way there with 11 days to go, so unless there's a big increase soon it looks like it won't be happening either.

So if anybody is interested in a salary cap style fantasy comp instead of the draft model, make sure you go and pledge them 10 quid ($19). If it doesn't get over the line you won't be charged.

There don't seem to be many other options except Superbru. I haven't tried that but it might be the only option this year!
