kind of felt a bit sorry for him. he put in a nice crossfield kick but in general this level looks a bit beyond him. plus his goalkicking technique sort of looks like a prop who's having a crack at taking the goalkicks

Yep agree with this. If you compared Mason to Ioane, it's like comparing chalk and cheese. Mason looked totally all at sea.
