A fair few errors in this one but it was a pretty entertaining game to watch. A bit of a throwback to the late 90s Super 12 where nobody could defend and all the games were 40-30 scorelines.
TJ Perenara was MOTM for me, he's absolute class and one of my favourite players to watch. There was one moment in this game that stood out for me: he threw a pass for Barrett who kicked but had it charged down, Perenara was super quick in wrapping around behind Barrett that he was able to pick up the loose ball from the charge down and then snap off a banana kick downfield from about halfway that landed between fullback and winger, and then rolled into touch about 10m from the Kings' line, it was outstanding.
