To my understanding Auggies played this game on Tuesday and won quite comfortably. Unsure of a score line

ISA Round 2:
Oakhill v Kinross @ Castle Hill - Kinross showed some better form in the trials. Oakhill though coming of a big win against Stannies, should have the firepower across the paddock to win.
Pius v Pats @ Oxford Falls - Pius have been very inconsistent with form. If Pats forwards get enough possession, their backline will be way too strong even at Ocford Falls. Pats win.
Auggies v Gregs @ Rat Park - Gregs showed alot of promise in the trials but did not show that form in round 1. Auggies at home will have too much strength and skill for Gregs travelling. Augies to win comfortably.

33-28 to Augies, cracker of a game. Fast paced and some strong contact. To Augies credit they held Villa up 4 times over the line.

I was told 38-7, but ok then apologies, either way score line shows a dominant Auggies team again this week as expected against Greg’s. Pats and pius sounded like a cracker of a game. Oakhill just like Auggies won in dominant fashion as expected.

Pius v Pats game was interesting, definitely a nail-biter but wouldn’t really be described as high quality except in odd patches. Pats were their own worst enemy through much of the game with some dropped ball and errors being costly. Pius were committed, playing well as a team and took their chances with those errors, especially early where several instances of Pats dropped ball meant Pius had all the ball in attack for the first five minutes and Pius scored twice to be leading 14-0.
Pats slowly worked their way into the game and the close score reflected the fact that Pats couldn’t get their game together with any consistency, and Pius just kept working away and wouldn’t lie down. Unfortunately the refereeing was also a talking point, with inconsistency being a feature but I won’t go too far on that issue – suffice to say there was a polite but lengthy conversation between the referee and the Pats coach after the game (yes the winning coach was seeking some clarifications).
The last part of the game held some vindication for Pats where Pius were awarded a penalty 40m out with less than 2 minutes to go, scores level at 26 all and the penalty kick missed. Pats took the ensuing goal line drop kick, and with Pius in possession in mid field eventually turning over the ball, Pats were able to break down field from inside their own half where a penalty was conceded by a Pius winger for an obvious knock down of a pass with Pats deep on attack which resulted in a Pius yellow card and penalty to Pats. So Alex Conti for Pats was lining up a penalty kick for goal about 10 metres in from touch with time up on the clock, and the successful kick meant a 29-26 win to Pats at the death.
Pats will feel that they have managed to get an ugly away win, although they are definitely missing those 4 injured forwards and 3 injured backs from their first choice team still sitting on the Pats bench.

Augs vs Greg’s game report
Early stages of the game saw a physical and tightly contested battle with Auggies getting the scoring underway through a try to their flanker off a scrum. Greg’s then came down the other end and hit back from a chip and chase from their number 10 who showed great skills and got an excellence bounce of the ball. Augs then went in again through a try to their number 15. Half time saw Auggies leading 14-7.
2nd half got underway and the flood gates opened through a series of maul try’s to the Auggies forwards. As the game progressed a yellow card came for deliberately knocking the ball down to Greg’s outside backs, this proved to be costly against a backline such as Auggies who made a multitude of metres around the edges. After a couple more well worked tries Augs sealed the game 35-7. Credit to the Greg’s boys for creating such a tightly contested first half but Augs class seemed to prevail in the end. Great game.
Personally I believe Auggies V Oakhill next round is the most evenly matched it has been in a while and will be an incredible game to watch.

By the way things are looking, I'd have to agree with that Chop. They certainly are the two most consistent and dangerous teams this far in, hopefully it will be a tight game given the grand final-like atmosphere as I believe it will decide the eventual premiers.
Gregs seem to be out of the equation now unfortunately, Pats are still in with a chance but a close call against Pius isn't very promising, hopefully their injured lads can recover over the coming break and be able to field a full-strength team.
