anyone have ISA rep opens team lists? cant find
By the way things are looking, I'd have to agree with that Chop. They certainly are the two most consistent and dangerous teams this far in, hopefully it will be a tight game given the grand final-like atmosphere as I believe it will decide the eventual premiers.

Gregs seem to be out of the equation now unfortunately, Pats are still in with a chance but a close call against Pius isn't very promising, hopefully their injured lads can recover over the coming break and be able to field a full-strength team.
Greg’s have their their first 3 games away, which is never an easy task.

Be a big Day Jack. Also happens to be Oakhill gala day so will be a big crowd and the longest tunnel for the Golden Shoulders that you will ever see.

Oakhill vs Kinross game report:
Lovely afternoon out in the Hills. Weather was a cracker. Game started off quiet physical. Both sides defending and attacking well. Kinross had the height to match Oakhill across the paddock but lacked a little in size in the forwards. A few early errors by Oakhill allowed Kinross possession and they started the scoring off with a penalty kick from in front. Oakhill from the kick off the proceeded to maintain possession and was finally rewarded with a try from a scrum. Momentum continued with Oakhill with some nice work setting platforms for the backs to capitalise. Oakhill yellow card did not stop the momentum. 3 more tries before half time spread across the forwards and backs to lead 28 - 3 at halftime. Kinross buoyed on by the support from the grandstand, never gave up. The Kinross lineout was strong and they battled in the scrum being out weighed but continued to push forward. Continually repelling the Oakhill raids. 2 more tries to Oakhill and then Kinross capitalised on an Oakhill mistake to score in the corner. Oakhill then counterattacked with a kick and chase and left an opportunity for Kinross which they scored in the opposite corner. Possession then came back to Oakhill who continued attacking being rewarded with 2 more tries. Final score 54 - 13.

Mate cry me a river

can’t handle a bit of chat from some school kids
Some slightly more mature discussion would be better than perpetuating the attitude that has been described. I didn't mention the behaviour referred to in my previous comments on the game because I don't think it assists, but the behaviour of some at the ground was more than a bit of chat from some school kids. I've seen worse, but some of the stuff on Saturday was, if I'm being diplomatic, inappropriate at best. There are one or two places where I expect to see a bit of this rubbish, but not at Oxford Falls, you can do better than that.

I can count on 1 hand the amount of ISA wins Pius have had In the last 5 years.
With a close game against their rivals - you expect them to stay quiet. I can tell you right now St Pats wouldn’t do that

Pius is not a school known for being good at rugby however last years 1st XV showed up and I hope the school has some long term success

My previous comment is about the success over the previous 5 years. And how old mate said yelling while the kicker is kicking is inappropriate

mate boo hoo

only 2 games of ISA in 2020, they had one 6/7 games that season if you include trials.

Pius v Pats game was interesting, definitely a nail-biter but wouldn’t really be described as high quality except in odd patches. Pats were their own worst enemy through much of the game with some dropped ball and errors being costly. Pius were committed, playing well as a team and took their chances with those errors, especially early where several instances of Pats dropped ball meant Pius had all the ball in attack for the first five minutes and Pius scored twice to be leading 14-0.

Pats slowly worked their way into the game and the close score reflected the fact that Pats couldn’t get their game together with any consistency, and Pius just kept working away and wouldn’t lie down. Unfortunately the refereeing was also a talking point, with inconsistency being a feature but I won’t go too far on that issue – suffice to say there was a polite but lengthy conversation between the referee and the Pats coach after the game (yes the winning coach was seeking some clarifications).

The last part of the game held some vindication for Pats where Pius were awarded a penalty 40m out with less than 2 minutes to go, scores level at 26 all and the penalty kick missed. Pats took the ensuing goal line drop kick, and with Pius in possession in mid field eventually turning over the ball, Pats were able to break down field from inside their own half where a penalty was conceded by a Pius winger for an obvious knock down of a pass with Pats deep on attack which resulted in a Pius yellow card and penalty to Pats. So Alex Conti for Pats was lining up a penalty kick for goal about 10 metres in from touch with time up on the clock, and the successful kick meant a 29-26 win to Pats at the death.

Pats will feel that they have managed to get an ugly away win, although they are definitely missing those 4 injured forwards and 3 injured backs from their first choice team still sitting on the Pats bench.
"suffice to say there was a polite but lengthy conversation between the referee and the Pats coach after the game"

More likely he was thanking him.................................

ISA opens and U16’s have already trained and played matches on 6th June down at Oxford Falls. ISA 1st opens beat CHS1’s, ISA 2nds opens lost to CCC. ISA 3rds played AICES. Can’t remember who won that game or the scores from any of the games.
Any idea what the score was roughly in 2nds v CCC that day boots?

Heard the score was roughly 44 - 21 with CCC getting up on the day. However, I am surprised with the lack of the St Pats boys being selected within the representative sides as they came runners up last season and tracking decently this season with their key players such as their 7 (Pats Captain), 12, 8 and 5 missing out on selection. Any news why Conti has pulled out of ISA, is it due to injury or other commitments.
