The All Black front row for Auckland really had a massive impact. Pity they came on 40 minutes too late.

Certainly made a difference didn't they DP? Clan went well again, but boy the Smiths and Fekitoa are going to need a rest soon, so that may cost them a match or 2.

I just hope that "back nek week" doesn't turn into a re-run of Read's dramas...


Easy way to deal with that is to not try and get him back into playing each week. With a Taufua/Todd/Read loose forward trio, McCaw doesn't really need to play much Super rugby. Ergo, there's no need to rush his return. If/when he does return, just keep him on the bench and, more importantly, don't break him.
