Few comments on the officials.

Force probably shouldn't be looking for any favours from Mike Fraser. Have not been impressed with his officiating at all this year.

The Cru can count their lucky stars that Jaco will be assisted by a different TMO this week. Super Rugby probably couldn't stand another farce like last week.

I hope Houston continues to show good form in Singapore. IMO he has been the pick of the Aussie refs this year.

First 25 mostly HorrorCanes & 19-3 then the wobbles set in, HT 19-17. Shoulda been 22-10 but Bogan missed a relative sitter. Breeze looks fairly strong by non-Wellywood standards, Kings would have to fancy their chances given how far Foucher can kick it.................

Perenara ignores three unmarked players outside him & takes the contact, 'canes knock on. 25-20 & Kings look like they may collect their first point of the season.

OK, 'canes no longer in danger of losing & Kings probably not gonna get the losing BP but it's 4 tries to 2 & 'canes would surely have been budgeting on taking all 5 from this so they've got roughly 2:30 to manufacture something.

Forward pass, no try, scrum Kings. Penalty Kings, lineout on 'canes 10m line. Overthrown, Bogan goes 60m for the BP try. FT 42-20.

HorrorCanes never really in danger of losing but, geez, if @Dan54 started that with a full head of hair he's got bald patches right now! Perfectly timed bye for them, too.

Yes, we have Bogans in NZ. Also KFC & Red Rooster, Burger King & Maccas (not to mention Fords & Holdens). Pretty sure "Bogan" is yet another little piece of NZ that you lot have adopted/ kidnapped & raised as if it were your own...........

adopted? kidnapped? I don't know what you mean.

Really? Always thought it was an English corruption of an Irish word.

As for the adopted/ kidnapped thing, there's the small matters of the original pavlova recipe, Phar Lap's hide, any number of Strayan bands who are actually kiwi (Dragon & Crowded House spring immediately to mind), our diveball team becoming "Australasian" every time the Strayan one exits a Diveball World Cup......

^^^^^^^^^^ if you promise to stop calling Rusty a kiwi every time he biffs someone but Strayan next time he wins an Oscar or suchlike, you got yourself a deal :)
