Brilliant. Merci muchly for sharing.
Naturally, on behalf of all that is Gold, hoping for a different outcome at the final whistle tomorrow, but brilliant reminisce just the same.
(Love that "pitch invasions", sans fencing, sans wanna-be security guards, were accepted as a part of the schoolboy landscape only a mere 35 years ago - and the stuff of Laureates! ;))

Not so sure about that Azzuri. I live about the same distance from the coast, albeit on the north side as Bellevue Hill, and it's barely stopped raining here all day. In fact it's raining quite heavily now.

Scots probably trained on the field at least twice this week as well and IIRC it has a cricket pitch in the middle.

My spies were at Bellevue Hill earlier today and caught Dr Lambert's reaction to the weather:
