    Hey everyone
Has anyone heard what will become of Penrith (if anything) for next season? Will they reform and play back in grade, or will they move to Subbies?
I can't see SRU continuing with weekly byes for the other teams in season 2019.

I personally would like to see a viable rugby team out far west - lets hope this can eventuate

I have heard that the SRU has confirmed an 11 team comp in 2019. I don't know what Penrith will do.

It's much harder to start again, than to maintain/ grow.

I can't see how they can ever get back in.

Only pathway can be through subbies, I s'pose.

I'll bump this - what's the rumour mill spinning re Penrith in 2020? Any confirmation if they're doing either Subbies or have actually got back into Shute?

They have started training and are suggesting that they have had some form of re-entry into Premier Rugby.
