    Hi Reg,

Your sound quality on the podcast seems to be suffering recently ?
There's lots of clipping on your mic while the others seem pretty good.
It was very bad during the (excellent) Larkham interview.

    Anyway, love the podcast ..

thanks mate, appreciate the feedback. I put it down to lethargy. I would love to be able to spend more time mixing it better, but never seem to.

What do you mean by clipping on the mike? Just that sort of feedback sound? Did you find it better in the 2nd half (after the Bernie interview?)

    Hi Reg,

By clipping I mean the input level peaks and your voice totally distorts for a second or two.
I listened to it through a home stereo, good headphones and in the car - it's a constant.
It might be the quality of your mic ?
You could also try backing away from it a bit and see if that evens out the input level.
Without seeing the set-up it's hard to know.

The sound did improve after the interview - though the clipping is still there.

Maybe it's just the extra excitement around all the quality Australian rugby at the moment ..

thanks mate. Will have a look at it and see how I can improve it. It's just a head set with mike, I think I turned things up for the BErnie interview as the sound waves looked low. It seemed to distort it.

Will see what I can do for next week.
