Sadly, Scott Sullivan, Motor Neurone Disease sufferer who founded the MNDandMe foundation in 2011, passed away last week after an unfortunate fall at his Brisbane home. Scott was 42 and leaves behind his wife Sarah and children Abbey and Charlie.
Scott was a life-long rugby lover who attended St Laurence's at South Brisbane, a well-known Brisbane rugby school, and played his senior rugby for the Sunnybank club in Brisbane.
Scott will be remembered forever for his tireless efforts for MND research and for his many "half-time" appearances at Brisbane Premier/QLD Reds rugby games where he promoted the MNDandMe cause.
Scott's funeral will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday 6 May at St Peter and Paul's Church at Bulimba, QLD.
RIP Scotty Sullivan, a true champion and a Queensland rugby legend.
