Final game of the season. This won't be pretty.

Would like to see Stirzaker given a run at half-back after Phipps had a brain fade in the final minutes.

Freier has reportedly been ruled out due to a calf injury.

Stormers will know what needs to be done when this match starts. Etsebet will be back for this one. Was hoping to see Schalk , Koster and Vermeulen back by this time but better not to risk this players.

In one of the most unlikely scenarios, if the Rebels beat the Stormers by more than 7, and the Brumbies notch a bonus point win against the Blues, the Stormers will slip to 3rd overall and the Brumbies will have the first week of the finals off.

However, that means that if the Reds make the finals, they would most likely have to travel to Cape Town in the 1st week of the finals to face the Stormers. No Dice.

Stormers by 22.

Schalk and Koster out of the S15, Vermeulen will know on monday if he can play in the play offs. Etsebet wont be risk this weekend and will only play in the play offs.

I've been saying this all season. Would be lovely to see it happen, Phipps appears to be completely untouchable though. Doesn't matter what he does, he's back again next week.

Kingi needs to move interstate. He'd probably get a gig at the Force; that at least will get him a few games at 9. With the selectors at the Rebels he will never get picked no matter how badly Phipps plays.

Or the Tahs. You guys seem to like collecting half-backs at the minute.

He has signed for another year.

Kingi and Stirzaker should both move IMO, and as soon as possible. Much as I love them as players, they're being criminally underused down here.

I can see the Rebels winning this crazy as it sounds, the stormers struggle in attack, and the Rebels, even without Beale and JOC (James O'Connor) are a good team and for me the Stormers are over rated. Oh I don't doubt the bookies will have Stormers at big odds, but I think people keep insisting on underestimating how good our team is outside of Beale and JOC (James O'Connor).

The Rebels (missing two of their stars) are underrated but the Stormers are over rated. Now I've heard it all. The team who has won the most games in the competition are over rated. Nice one Ath. Put all your money on the Rebels win this weekend mate.

"The Stormers struggle in attack" and no doubt their overrated defence will be tested by the brilliant attacking players the Rebels will be fielding this weekend.

BTW it's slightly harder for a travelling team to win at Newlands than it is to beat the Lions at Ellis Park....

Rebels under rated. yep.

Stormers over rated. yep.

Rebels favourites? No, and shouldn't be - but I believe they are capable of winning this game. They are also capable of being smashed as we all know, but I am not writing them off. I think most people are.

But then I happen to think the Lions are a lot better than this years scores show, so call me crazy.

Rebels record on the road this year => Played 7, Won 1 (against Force)

Stormers record at home this year => Played 7, Won 7

Doesn't make for good reading Ath....

The Stormers have a proud home record since 2010.
2010 - One loss against the Brumbies
2011 - Reds & Crusaders (semi)
2012 - None

Would be a tradegy if we drop this one at a critical stage of the tournament. We havent saw sunshine in more then a week and a good chance of rain on saturday. Luckily its a 15h00 kick off.

Because I think their attack is weak PB, no more, no less. Oh I daresay I could dig up stats, but the simple truth is I think their attack is limited. I'm not going to get dragged into saying the Rebs are better, they aren't, not this year. But I do think they can win.

If it makes you feel any better I really like Kolisi.

Love the fanaticism. But you are just a little bit nuts! ;)
