Man that was incredibly brutal by Crusaders, Sott Barrett and co just buried the Blues pack!

Perhaps Auckland should help RA push this idea of free movement between the countries and teams. It may mean you actually weaken the Cantubs.

It could even help strengthen the Blues by picking up a few Force players.

Blues played their final last week against the Tahs, no emotional energy left for this week.

Fucking LLLOLLLLLLL.

NEVER underestimate the capacity of the Blues to brainlessly shit the bed at Lancaster Park. Half-arsed show ponies to a man.

ALL BLACKS all over the park and they got MURDERED by the Cantabs B team. As pathetic as they are pea-brained.

Vaguely terrifing for NZ if about 10 of those Blues LIGHTWEIGHTS think they'll be trotting out at RWC 2023.....

Was Charlton playing at Lock?

It was like watching 2 seperate games in one. One team pretends there isn't a ruck and you can just pick up the ball and play the halfback the whole game. The other didn't.
This game proves how cooked rugby is getting. The crusaders are not that much better than the blues. that's proper cooked. It's the way the game was reffed and the crusaders played a different game that suited Angus gardner on the night. At one point the crusaders players were miles offside in the ruck playing the half back and slapping the ball down and it's play on. Blues never had any time to play.

I can't recall too many more brutal and ruthless performances in a semi-final than that from the Cantabs. Jeepers, they smashed the Blues all over the park, got up in their faces, attacked the breakdown hard and forced mistakes. Wow.

:D Trouble is Ig, the buggers seem to enjoy being in the whole set up, and wouldn't leave!!
And as @The_Brown_Hornet rightly says I am same, can't remember a more brutal dimembering of a team in a final. Crusaders won every single contact I think, whether it was in ruck or or tackle etc. Was truly gobsmacking, then their backs had ball on a plate.

Saders just too good and they always turn up at FINALS time. No matter who puts on that jersey

On the upside, imagine a Robertson All Blacks team at a RWC.

He has some unnatural ability to transform his Crusaders into an postseason army of unrelenting terminators whose sole job is to harvest the souls of whatever poor bastards have the temerity to line up against them. It's as though the oppositions mere existence is a personal affront to them.

Instead we'll have to sit through Fozzy bear dozing off with his warm cup of milk while he sticks to Hansen's thoroughly debunked ""strategies"".

It was pretty funny watching that smallish Cantabs no-name #6 absolute savage the entire Blues pack at the tackle and counter ruck right from the opening whistle and for the entire 80 minutes. Whoever he is, he won't be named in Fozzie's AB squad tomorrow. Instead we'll get the blase hearts and vacant minds of Nepo, Ofa, Sotutu, Akira etc

Well that was an utter shitshow.

The fraudulent Leon MacDonald Blues talk a good game but don't deliver.

A very well coached team with a crazy strong culture and wonderful leadership against a bunch of talented individuals with poor coaching, a poor culture and poor leadership.

Papali'i might turn into a captain one day but those claiming he's a future AB captain are kidding themselves. He did front up himself though and I shudder to think what the score would have been without him.

I'm glad Leon is moving on - for all the talk of 'culture' that he's created the Blues repeatedly drop their nuts when they come up against a well organised team who can't be bullied.

Not a great way for Rieko to bring up 100 games but he was awful himself - an AB centre who can't catch the ball is a real concern. He thinks he's a leader but actions say otherwise - he regularly plays like shit vs Crusaders. Ennor destroyed him.

The less said about the Blues attacking shape the better. It has sucked all year - especially as they insist on Grandad Beauden at 10.

Conversely Crusaders were brilliant and played near perfect playoff rugby - constantly pressuring the other team into mistakes. Razor's ability to constantly get his teams playing the right way in playoff rugby is unbelievably impressive.
