1: Provide $100M for specific use - development of a new ARC
2: Do not allow the ARU or the clubs to control the competition,
3: Provode the ARU with a succession takeover plan after 4 years but no changes to the format for 10 years

TT Shit you are game. They will piss it against the wall in no time.

I would give the ARU nothing.

I'd put the majority of the money into the grass roots of the game and and a domestic comp a la the ARC. I totally concur with not putting it all in the hands of the Sydney clubs.

If I had $100 million to piss away I'd invest it exclusively in grassroots. It all starts there, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

The ARC always confuses me. I know it's a great way to keep talent that would otherwise go overseas ect, be lost without trial, but what's the business model? How can it make cash? It seems that it can only lose money.

Well Diveball has just pissed up $45m of fed govt money up against the wall for no gain whatsoever, so there is really no reason why the Feds shouldn't give ARU some $.

Unfortunately it isn't money that would solve ARU issues.

For Christmas I would gift the ARU a season pass to Nagle Park Maroubra where they can see 600 5-14 year olds ply their trade week in week out. I would also gift a season pass to HV Evatt park Lugarno, so they can experience some subbies footy as well as juniors. I would gift them Presidency of the Gordon Rugby Referees association, so they understand officialdoms issues. Lastly I would gift them the coaches position at Granville Boy's High School 1st XV, so they can appreciate the real challenges of growing the game within schools. It is not just about GPS and CAS.

I would give them as much money as they need for ,

Deans to have his own hit TV show entitled Dingo Bingo

Quade Cooper to set up his own teleshopping channel of stuff you find mysteriously in the street called qBay

Berrick to launch his own skincare range for removing wrinkles that occur when you start sooking

Setting up Gits' new fish restaurant that specialises in crabs

A new institute in Perth for Richard Brown to run around in so he can let off some steam

A new lord of the rings film so that Phil Waugh can play that ugly orc thing

Nagle Park. Now that brings back some memories.

amazing that they want to invest so much in diveball like that for little to no chance of reward. Seems like they're memory only lasts 6 years of what was a brilliant tournament - the RWC. And, unlike the FIFA who has the most oil cup, the bid process isn't corrup & bullshit, and it's pretty easy to secure the event.

300K for one of those French Scrum Machines! (actually make that times five, one for each Aus Super 15 team)
