DMac gifts JSav the opening try, Weber almost gifts him another two minutes later. WTF? Short passes & truck it up first, guys.

Chiefs have squandered a few opportunities. Hurricanes have made the most of there’s but haven’t looked as good as the Chiefs.

I a bit surprised and impressed that Canes pack have started to get a bit of parity, they weren't getting anything in early stages!

Canes defence this week has definitely tightened up, if they score next they’ll be hard to run down.

Time to deliver my touch of death to the Crusaders.....

Good performance from the Hurricanes. You really need to choke them out in the forwards like the Brumbies did a few weeks ago as their backs are too good when given clean ball. Laumape is fantastic, he’d have to be close to bagging the 12 jersey for the ABs. Evans was also excellent for the Hurricanes as he disrupted the Chiefs’ momentum at crucial times.

Perenara does the biz.
poor Ngatai, had the young bull Laumape stampeding all over his shit pamplona-style

Dmac giveth and Dmac taketh away. Those highwire fuckups in a tight game just biff the rest of your team in the fucken blender

Well I slightly surprised at how well Canes forwards went in end, but quite happy to see it! Have to say laumape certainly enjoys making a statement in some games doesn't he? Chiefs players can go home and rest their bodies, and Shag will be happy no doubt that Lurch, and Cane can get a rest before RC starts.

After a week of strategising the Chiefs coaching staff decided to spare McKenzie the wrath of Laumape and instead made him Ben Lam’s doormat.

Also awful ad lib speech from the NZ Vice whatever he is, he should have at least thought of what he was going to say before he started rambling. Sam Cane was much more eloquent in his post match interview.

Yep Bill Osborne was certainly a better rugby player than he is a speaker! Geez the ball did some funny things in the air, that Wellington wind can do strange things even without a round stadium to whirl around in!
TJ looks like he got a crook arm!

It’ll be a worry if Perenara is injured, the Hurricanes are so much better when he is on song.

Dmac is garbage and i hope the All Blacks select him at 10 for the rest of time and old mate Mo'unga fucks off to Europe.

Highlights:

Chiefs will obviously be disappointed with the result but I think they can be proud of themselves for qualifying, I certainly didn't think they would pre-season with a new coach, a heap of new players & injuries to key ones esp up front. I had them pegged for mid-table, I think.

Yep I assume you taking the piss Derpus, because I know the ABs will continue picking him, and bring Mounga through nicely. And that will do me nicely!!

Geez you lot are hard markers, he missed lam once, which was down to great work by Jordie Barrett, delayed his pass so DMac started to turn in and then passed to Lam, actually most No13 thing I have seen jordie do, once you are unbalanced against lam that close he beats almost anyone!. Reminds me of everyone writing off Richie when he got beaten in same way by Tevita Li in 2015!
