It's a pretty good excuse, though.

This is Mickey C's SOS – the Sister of Suzie

Milk it like there's no tomorrow

(And if they jag a win from this adversity, it'll be bigger than Mandela in '95)

It would cause an international incident to blame dodgy food in Padua. ;)

Cheika coached there for a year, surely he'd know the best restaurants? :D

Indigenous jerseys this week, isn't it? Surprised I haven't heard that much about it, bit of a statement at Twickenham.

Italophile

Bill Watson (15)
Manu Tuilagi on the bench for England. Eddie has unshakeable faith that he can reproduce the barnstorming effort against the ABs six years ago. Jamie George starts at hooker in front of Hartley, Farrell at 10, Te'o at 12, Slade at 13. Joe Cokanasiga on the wing, Nowell injured. Cokanasiga's a huge unit, dangerous going forward. If only there were a kicker capable of turning him around.

Some very confusing selections there, apparently the only injury concern was Pocock, everyone dropped from last week still fit.

Foley at 12 looked great against italy?!?!? May as well try it again against goos opposition and see if its even better?!?!?

When rob simmons is the most fearsome back 5 option coming off the bench. I like rob but you expect some mongrel sitting next to him not anonymous pete and flanders

Actually the more you look the more questions this team raises. Never a dull moment with cheika picking a team

With Kepu going back to THP you have to assume that there's something up with Tupou. I guess it will come out if so.

The backline is weird. Even the most ardent Foley supporters have been saying never to play 12 again, and Beale has been left out for a 6:2 split.

As always I'll put my depleting faith in the selectors though. I can kinda get my head around the 10/12 as they'll share the duties a lot and I was calling for it the other way around. The first thing that comes to mind with Maddocks' selection is that he's there for the kick return, with Sefa to come on late for a bit of impact. Implies a defensive approach to the game initially, speaking of that I can't work out how we'll line up in defense, perhaps 12. Kerevi 13. Folau 14. Foley. Or as wild as it may seem, as per teamsheet. Who knows!

This has to be a g up.. surely.

The only reason foley should be there is if it’s a lie and he isn’t playing and Beale is playing at 12 as a late inclusion.

Siren foley at 12 against Italy- not against England at Twickenham. This is just dumbfounding.

This must not be correct- Cheika playing mind games.

Foley surely just not playing and Beale straight in at 12.

Wearing our indigenous jersey and he drops one of our greatest ever indigenous players because of... reasons??

Has kept him in the team for this long despite his shortcomings..

Yep well maybe Beale's poor form is costing him, and obviously Chuckles is pretty keen on the 2 playmaker system. It is interesting to say the least.

Of the starting XV, Foley at 12 is the weirdest. Almost unfathomable in fact.

Phipps ahead of Gordon isn't far behind.

Don't think Ainsley is up to international standard.
