You shouldn't be confused, because defending rights includes defending the rights of people who you either don't like or don't agree with.

not disputing it's relevance if true but I'm wondering if it would have got the same airtime from you if it instead said this:

It is understood Folau was grilled for hours at a time by the panel and RA’s legal team and he spoke from the heart.

The Australian understands Folau told the room he would have no hesitation posting a similar religious view again, which aligns with the fact he has not taken down the Instagram post in 28 days.

You better add Nick Farr-Jones to that list.
Just gave a powerful performance on the Bolt Report, including his view that Israel gave no verbal undertakings to stop speaking his Christian beliefs. This was supported by the story of Castle giving a press statement that was at odds with what they had discussed.
Importantly, Izzy signed his recent contract assuming he continued to have the freedom to express his religious views.

I don't disagree if it's true and in context. Which it now appears not to be, not in context at least, with Farr Jones' comments it seems it was in the context that he gave no undertakings not to in the first place. Seems Fairfax might be twisting this one a little bit

My bet is all of this debate is exactly what IF had in mind as for me this happening just after he posted leading try scorer status in super rugby too convenient. Personally I think now more than ever time to cut him as we don’t need evangelists in rugby trying promoting their own personal agendas. Thanks for coming Israel but be good outside of your personal agenda you found the time to exit as sacrificing the future of rugby in this country vs your own personal agenda I will choose the former thanks.

Suggest you read again what posted as I was stating what a big corporate employer would do and mate this ain’t wrong but general consensus view.
