If I am correct, they won in 2009, there was the boilover upset 2 point loss 2010. McKellar then took over the team for 11/12 and won. Then Brad Harris took them to the 13/14 titles.

I think everyone else is past this but I don't think that classifies as a multi-premiership winning team. Agree with the consensus that the Brums were easily the most complete team in the conference and are a good chance to make a run in the finals. This weekend is tougher than it looks on paper though.

But still a good example of the short term results of a culture-based, motivational style of coach. His lack of success post 2015 is very likely a direct outcome of his lack of tactical/technical nous.

Biggest positive for me with McKellar for me is that he has been part of the local system, has good insight, understanding is is not only backing be being willing to use it. I am thrilled, albeit a little nervously, that we will be investing in some good young talent. As long as we are competitive and evolving with a good fighting spirt and going with form for selections I will be happy if the results take some time to come.
I will be intrigued to see if McKelkar can cast his own mold as this is really the first time he will need to build I most of it himself rather than having inherented it.
I hope the Brumbies market it right to get the supporters back with a clear understanding that this is the next Gen Brumbies.
It's also why I am leaning towards not wanting White back.

Yup, as much as i'd love him back i'd prefer we stuck with Powell and Lonergan, and lock in his older brother as well. Perfect timing to come through as backup.
Worried about 10 for next year though, we're going really rookie in all options there. I'd love to see Wright get his fair share of time there to see what he could do, he looks really promising so far.

Wright played 10 at Joeys in his final year for the first few games of the season but they shifted him out later in the season because he wasn't getting enough space in tight to be really damaging with his footwork and evasiveness. I'd be keeping him in the wider channels for the time being as it is where he is most dangerous.

Yeah he doesn't seem to have the passing game yet to be 10, but his dangerous on the edge, I find him playing as the second fullback with Pulu on the other wing. His big enough, has a wicked step and has some pace.

???? Based on the comments in the Reds thread Blythe is very highly rated by fans.
The issue is more how long they can retain all of Rodda, Hockings, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) & Blythe. To some degree it gets alleviated by LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) playing in the backrow, but then you get a log jam developing of LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), ASY (Angus Scott-Young), Wright, McReight, Wilson, Wood. Not sure it’ll be a problem next year when I think a few of those guys will be prepared to bide their time a bit, but you’d figure they’ll all be looking for opportunities to start by 2021.
