If the BBC coaches have learnt from 2017 and again this year the importance of tactical goal kicking, or just needing a goal kicker full stop for the big games, they are a very good chance .

Some changes at State high, getting a new director of rugby! They have struggled a bit under the current one!

You'd think after three years you'd get over that fact that he left your school. Back on your bike champion and focus on your own backyard

Will be a new Director of Rugby at BBC. They advertised for the role a few weeks ago.

Would love to ask the forum for any feedback / requests on how the competition is covered going forward.

What would GAGRers like to see more of next year? What could you stand to see a bit less?

Loved all the history lessons and stats, would love to see plenty of that.

Interesting

A few funny things within ( like Marist being Top 20 ahead of Nudgee ,Kings , Scots most obviously but probably another half a dozen teams ( at least ) from other Conferences in Brisbane and Sydney and probably another half a dozen to a dozen in NZ

The big omission though is Nudgee, although , I am certain this year’s team will atone for last year’s disappointing result. If they play an integrated 15 man game (which they didn’t do when it mattered last year) I reckon they’ll be hard to hold out

I enjoy this guys videos, but he is pretty one-eyed.

So who is back in 2020 for the starting XV's. Anyone want to have a go at a team by team breakdown of returning players?

TSS will be interesting. I only have one forward returning ( Michael VDS ) which is a real worry. They do have Fifita, Schmidt and Ngamanu back in the backs . Genuine top line talent - but will they have enough in the forwards , and , will they have the same depth as Nudgee that have consistently owned the age group over the last couple of years as they've been coming through.

Probably the two most stacked teams in terms of those rolling around again are TGS and BBC

Expect TGS and ACGS to make some noise and genuinely challenge into the Top 3 - off the back of rock solid packs and rock solid halves ( many of whom are returning ) If either of these 2 x teams can add/develop a capable outside finisher or two - they will finish into the top half of the table ( definitely ) and possibly push into a top 3 finish

Jack Howarth in his final year at BBC will be hard to stop. After a full offseason with the Storm he will be fitter than ever. I would love if he comes back for some professional union down the track.

He is back again? That is good news for the college. He was one of the hardest players to stop last year.
