Scots have sent their annual NZ Tour invites out. However, only playing on game against Christs College, think they're taking around 2 teams and a half.

The new headmaster at Shore apparently has been told his first priority is to fix their first XV. Whilst the school has strong debt the angst continues that the firsts havent won a game in 3 years...

Are you implying that despite the debt, Shore will enter the "arms race" for players?

Haven't won a GPS premiership fixture for three years.
I saw them beat Cranbrook in a trial recently.

sorry - depth
Counting a trial win as the CAS whipping boys shows how far the mighty have fallen. Saying that though, Shore's lower grades look pretty strong in all age groups.

Nate, me old mucker, commenting about individual schoolboys isn't a good look. First of all, let the lad play his game and enjoy rugby and his team mates for what it is. Secondly, putting pressure on the young fella at his age isn't on.

Reports about Scots teams would be greatly appreciated.

Some on this thread may be interested that the Australian Schools Rugby Lunch is less than three weeks away.
I'm sure Gordon Bray & Sir Peter Cosgrove will be excellent. Often a lot of former Wallabies and rugby faces end up at this lunch too.

Tickets can be got here I believe: https://www.trybooking.com/book/event?eid=572934&

I was at business school with Tim - he was captain if the Wombats, a rugby tragic if here ever was one. Shore have some talent to work with, in particular their U16s age group. I expect an upward trajectory is not far away

Any input on the kings school and how they will go this year as I hear a few CAS schools Trinity and Cranbrook are having an opposed session against them in a couple weeks could get a bit physical with some classic schoolboy banter.

With the large number of sporting cancellations world wide it is possible that schoolboy rugby in NSW could similarly be affected.
No crowds allowed at tonight's ODI at the SCG, Formula 1 in Melbourne cancelled and AFL season opener under a cloud.
It's a waiting game.

Thanks for the link Rudderless.

I heard the Tuesday date was set to avoid a potential ban on all junior sport if it was to be announced during the week.
