I guess it depends on how intent Rennie is to empty the bench. If he is committed to giving Lolesio game time (and with 5-3 you basically have to be committed or you’re just a wasting a spot you could use for an extra forward) then I think it makes sense to send him on with White at 9 (a) because it means you always have one experienced half on and (b) because White and Lolesio have spent more time together (even if they didn’t play the that many games for the Brumbies).

Nah, KiwiM's right, Google "windiest city in the world" & it's Wellywood all the way in terms of actual cities (there's a place in Antarctica that has both a higher year-round average wind speed & more days of gale- & above strength windy days) & Chicago earned its moniker c/- politicians not Mother Nature.
Edit: Anyways, in terms of sky stadium, for whatever reason(s) it can be blowing an absolute howler & it mostly gets deflected by the roof: it's at lesser speeds (I've heard 25-30km/h is the fun zone) that things get interesting for goalkickers & would-be catchers of the high ball.

Anyway the cake tin shields a lot of the wind,compared with Athletic Park,where the southerly would funnel down from Cook Strait and the whole Millard stand used to shudder!

If conditions are going to be poor, I think we will need White starting. I say this because anyone with an accurate boot will have their value increased. The fact we have two dynamic flyers on the wings means the backfield is generally down to 1 kicker (FB). However, I do expect to see JOC (James O'Connor) drop back quite alot to help cover for kicks, organise counter attacks and trade blows through territorial kicks.
With Lolesio on teh bench, this basically rules out a 6/2 split IMO. But with Valetini on the bench also, either Wright or Samu will miss out. I feel Wright will start @ 6. He's basically a slighter smaller Fardy. Rangey flanker who loves a pilfer.

Actually I loved the upper deck of Millard Stand, could be a little chilly, but was right at the front of it watching the AB/Wallabies test and have never watched a game from a better spot. It was so close and so high, was like having a chess board below. Was about 10-15 metres from touch line and way up in air. Though I never felt the need to take of jacket

^ yeah, well, taking off one's jacket in the top deck could land you up in Island Bay or Lambton Quay depending on wind direction, couldn't it? Only went top-deck once, either Wellington v Scotland in 1975 or AB v Ireland in '76 & never felt the urge to go back up there again.
