Reds should be very happy with that first half start. Great intensity. Had Chiefs on the back foot. Second half was a drop off. They needed to go on with it.

Chiefs screwed themselves with cards. They regrouped well without Dmac and hit their stride midway through the second half.

As a counter point the reds let their foot off and cleared the bench, probably wouldn't have done that if the game was tighter - for example this was probably the most minutes Nonggorr has had all season.

Most enjoyable game with some good footy from both sides. Glad I'm not a Reds fan though, don't need anxiety levels like those last few mins! At least with the Tahs you know you'll gets some good tries but never have to really worry about getting your hopes up.
