Done like a dog's dinner. Wallabies just lack a sense of occasion and urgency. Still the social media posts of guys slapping each other in the face with tortillas is world class.

eddie ran rings around the aussies ... only realised in last 30 mins that kerevi on marcus smith was a mismatch ... Jack van Poortlviet gonna be a killer for the lions in 2025

Rennie needs to think harder. That was dumb dumb rugby. A test class defence will gobble that up all day long.

might need to have a rethink about him.

euro teams are a long way ahead in the smarts department at the moment

Just quietly, I think that's a pass mark from me. 2/3 is a huge success. 1/3 and the other 2 games could've gone to us is a definite pass. I thought we were heading to a series white wash.
Mate it might been but England were puss. They made so many shite mistakes and we just made even more.

I expected to lose and I'm still pissed off.

They just defended and cheated the whole game. Ref kept the whistle in the picket. Joke.
Careful what we wish for I suppose?

All week we were all saying "put the whistle away & let them play...."

The ref doesn't make us drop the ball & not take the 3 when we have the opportunity - we turned down 12 points off the tee tonight, in test match rugby (especially against a side like England who will always try to score on 3s) that is simply unacceptable

Ah maybe I'm becoming more like Dan54 in my old age but I enjoyed the series and thought it was the best thing for Aus rugby short of a series win. Three genuinely competitive, nail biting games where there's no clear favourite.

I really wish I'd see some progress with us but there's so much same old same old for the last few years.

Same basic skills lacking, same silly penalties & same fucking Hooper not taking the 3 when it's on offer!

The strategy looked fine it was once again execution that let us down. If only I had a dollar for every "last pass" that we have screwed in the last decade.

Australian rugby love playing a running rugby skilled game, but maybe we simply don't have the skill to execute this game anymore.
