Looks like we have a few loose units as fans too - not just the poms
Nah, Eddie loves to throw shit on others but can't handle anything come back his way.

It must be a sore spot for the bloke to react that way. He can try and retort back with the line of "look how much I've done for Australian rugby" but I'd reply that he set up a generation of props to fail and left the Reds hanging in one of their darkest years.

He took the pay day and easiest option out after the Japanese route ie coaching the nation with the most financial support and largest player base. And honestly, that's fine, he should just accept his choice in life and realise he got the last laugh on the punter who heckled him.

You mean injured... Other then Arnold? And possibly Skelton. Who else was missing
Petaia, Kellaway, Cooper, Holloway, Rodda, Swain, Banks and several coming back from injury in TT, JOC (James O'Connor), Ikitau, AAA etc etc

We were a little short no doubt and most of the replacements went well

Bit much to run your mouth and run the old “say it to my face” when you are flanked by your security detail

On last night's test, I thought is was another good one, seemed about right result to me from what I saw (I had just got back to Hotel after All Blacks/Irish test). I don't think Wallabies looked poor, jsut beaten (and not by a hell of a lot) by the better team on night.

Ok mate, I was talking to a couple or Irish supporters last night who said it was professional. as did my nephew who lives there, reckon he know a couple mates pretty good players that get about 3000 euro a game. Might be winding me up of course, wouldn't be first!:mad:

There must be more to it I reckon, I don’t think some random punter in a yellow beanie singing out ‘you’re a traitor’ would illicit such a reaction from Eddie, I’m sure he’s heard worse. Plus the ‘come here and say it’ isn’t really a contextual response to that.

Ok mate, obviously incorrect and just had a look, seems quite a few are just paid under table (like rugby in old days) but basically you right, no way would enough get it to be a fully pro game! Just what I had been told, and as it by quite some way apparently biggest sport Ireland I guessed it was open. Think I recall Isaac Boss saying oit basically a catholic played sport and rugby was the protestant game, why it was so good when Rugby played at Croke park a few years ago, firt time he reckoned most Cathlolics has ever seen rugby.

Yeah look a lot will get paid cash in a brown paper bag but you aren’t choosing that over a pro contract.

I finally got the chance to watch the game this afternoon. No ref issues - we got done fair and square.

Despite the loss, I actually agree that we are steadily coming together. It was those little clinical errors and lack of polish that stopped us from taking this match, particularly in that opening 20 minute stanza. Even with all of those ridiculous injuries I think we are building the nucleus of a very competitive team. I’m hoping that just in time for the World Cup we can really be firing and we can roll those pasty dickheads in the finals.

Rapid player thoughts: Best game in gold I’ve seen from Wright. Korobete a beast. Wilson nowhere near as bad as some are making out (an easy target for certain posters). Getting sick of the cute Tupou tricks ( just tuck and run you animal). Frost a great debut. Bring back Petaia and Kellaway ASAP please, love a fullback with an intelligent passing game.

I agree, and I am sure the RFU back at Twickers are not impressed either. I would have thought Eddie would have been used to such sprays from the fans, and it should be all water off a ducks back by now...

Maybe he is feeling the pressure more than ever as we move closer to next years RWC
Got worse sprays then that in the under 12s back in the day

For what it’s worth the Typo-graph reported the security guy in question had already talked to the heckler. And the bloke urinating off the grandstand? Wow, just wow

well said. More often than not the comments from the next day review are a lot more sound than those rash keyboard thumpings that happen during a game

It’s obvious why English Football have to fence the different supporters off from each other, they’re just a bunch of dicks who can’t support their team without being racist, abhorrent and offensive to those around them.
Mate of mine works at the Caxton Hotel, spoke to him just before, they’ve had two days of EPL fans through the venue with the Leeds v Aston Villa game at Suncorp today and some open training sessions in the lead up.

He said more issues in the last 48hrs than they have had after Broncos games, SOO etc.

So it seems we were a little lucky not to lose Kerevi to a red card after the attempted tackle on genge - head clash in which Kerevi came off 2nd best when he was poleaxed in the tackle. Missed by the ref and no interruption by the TMO.

Part of what you're saying there captures the origins of the respective sports, but the last part is overreach. ... Plenty of things changed (and fast) in Ireland over the last fifty-plus years.

Really depends which interpretation you are going by. If its the Ireland interpretation its merely a yellow. The All Black interpretation would be red though.
