Oh I forgot about playing against SA. We have 2 minute 'breaks' every 10 minutes or so.

Boks have had all the territory. AB's under pressure from the Boks rush defense which has caused plenty of missed passes. Boks have thrown everything in the opening 40. Can the AB's settle and work their way into the game. They have looked unsettled.

Not sure how many AB fans are watching live.
It's a pretty worrying time to be an AB fan, but i guess we've been spoilt over the years.

We look second best, but it feels good to be:
- only one score down. We are a bit lucky the score is only 10-3.
- the Boks have expanded a fair bit. They are not that sharp offensively either, and Kolbe isn't here. Willie Le Roux will be an important player off the bench, but they cant bring him on too early because Faf is already off.

It's not really a matter of individual players anymore really. It's the systems they operate in. Even if you are really committed, and there is just no play drawn up, no deception, no variation, no way to build each phase in a way that makes the next phase more meaningful, we're not going to go much.
Defensively... yea still no rush.

We look the same as against the Irish, maybe just 5% more urgency and Ta'avao not good enough at this level.

Nah, Gardner has been fine...

In what game of rugby in the last 10 years have you been able to clatter straight into the kick receiver, no way near the ball and go unpenalized? Not to mention clatter into support players with no arms.

The AB's literally have no idea what to do in phase play. If there is quick line speed from the D we are completely blunt. The only way to negate is a proper kicking game (haven't had since Carter left) or the forward pack being dominant (we won't be against SA).

Here's hoping for a continuous, break-free second 40 minutes.

Oh we're playing referee one side again. Barrett wasn't even fucking offside.

These are the most winnable ABs I've ever seen. It depens of WBs performance but this year could be the easiest year to win the Bledisloe again

It's weird. They're making the most basic of errors. So either they are truly a very bad AB side (trending that way) , or once they fix simple things they'll be strong again.

Something is wrong in AB's land. Don't think the personnel mix is right, maybe the wrong coach and they aren't playing as a team. Individuals doing their own thing and making mistakes. Pressure building and they can't respond. Series over, this isn't the team to do it and as said above, the Wallabies best chance at the Bledisloe in a long time.

THIS IS WHAT FUCKING HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET THE PRICK GET AWAY WITH IT 10 MINUTES IN. COMPLETELY FUCKING RECKLESS.

You have to withdraw some underperformance players and call new blood

Unpopular opinion but the ABs have major issues beyond simple mistakes. These issues are all interrelated:
- Our forwards are relatively poor ball-carriers. We keep neglecting the weights for fitness and finesse. It's not a dichotomy. Every team has monsters, except us.
- We have no strategy on attack. Everything is one-out runners. Combine this with the above, and our attack is blunt.
- We don't really defend at Super Level. Defences is very optional. But at the highest level, our lack of commitment on defence at club level shows
- This is worsened because we do not rush in defence. Every top defence rushes. It is the only way to defend.
- Our wingers and FB dont get much practice under the high ball. In contrast, the North and the Boks have some killer FBs.
- Some of our cattle isn't as good as the past. Our tighthead today was Angus Ta'avao and Tyrel Lomax. Our bench looks so inexperienced and undynamic. Old man Coles. Lomax. Vai'i. Christie. Tupeau. It's not names that strike fear into anyone. But there's no next tier coming up.
- Some of the players have very poor basics. Reiko Ioane for example, is really only a reasonable player when the ball is in his hands. He doesn't offer much in support, spacing, or decoy. It's either him running or its nothing. His brother Akira tackles upright. At schoolboy level, it was too easy for the 2 of them. So they never really learnt to play. Now at international level, they can't change their habits.

There is 1 silver lining though. No one can be worse than Foster. I'm not sure Robertson is the answer. But he cant be worse than Foster. 1 more loss, and hopefully we never see Ian again.
