Fair side. Like the centre pairing.

Pretty rapid and big back three, I really like it.

I'd guess excluding the players sent home for recovery (Campbell & Gibbon who I assume are going on the EOYT) this is almost our best team.

Probably missing the locks and Gleeson as well.

I lot of posters thought Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) had done enough to get an EOFT nod already.

I wonder if this game is the final audition between him or Vunivalu.

No Gleeson, Gibbon Campbell or Frost.

To me, that's them pencilled in on the EOYT.

It's a pretty lightweight pack missing a lot of grunt - not the worst thing against Japan but this will be a tough to win.
Gibbon is home for a week before EOYT, was talking to him this week.

I'd be very surprised if Vunivalu didn't tour, they'll want to keep looking at him and bringing him on as long as they can. At the very least I can't see them discarding him until after the Italy game, they'll want to take a look at him on the end of the more settled wallabies backline, rather than the ever changing Aus A line up.

With Koroibete gone that does leave room for another winger to join the squad and that definitely could be Nawaqanitawase, but it's somewhat dependent on what they end up doing with fullbacks and 10s.

A side picked to match Japan's run and gun style I think. I agree with Qwerty about guys like Gleeson and Gibbon. The selectors have clearly seen enough and are confident that they can add them to the EOYT squad.

I'm excited about how good this game could be on Friday.

Finally, no Creighton. The pairing of Stewart and Henry is our strongest on tour, and Kuenzle was good last game. At last there is a chance that Vunivalu will get a pass from his outside centre.
Only problem I see is that Edmed and Peitch are 22 and 23. Who plays where if Henry gets injured?

Probably Pietsch at 13? Either that or Stewart at 13 and Edmed/Donaldson at 12
