Theyre both avid stoic philosophy students but they disagree ardently on the most influential voices of the subject.

McLennan subscribes more to the Seneca school of thought given his more accessible prose but Sua'ali'i finds him to be too sloganistic and so prefers the more introspective Aurelius. After all Aurelius didn't even intend to publish his meditations so you can understand why he finds it more trustworthy.
Sua'ali'i prefers Aurelius? WTF? Why didn't anyone check this out before signing him to a multi-million dollar contract?!

Something popping up this morning on my social media algorithm about Hamish McLennan & Sua'ali'i caught having a secret meeting.

I really don’t want to give rugby league algorithm the traffic, does anyone know what this is about? Is Joseph coming a year early perhaps?
Love the term 'Secret Meeting' as if their calendars are our right.

Only way I could see this happening is if the Roosters had someone they wanted to sign sooner and could get him off their books. Otherwise they want to win a Comp and he makes them a better team. I'd hope RA continue to meet regularly with him to build the relationship.

As others commented - McLennan, Phil Waugh & Sua'ali'i had coffee.

Certain league journos have reported it and, to my understanding, insinuated that Sua'ali'i is distracted and it is impacting his performance.

McLennan took the opportunity to chip at league for being paranoid and treating their players poorly.

I don’t really know what to think. Part of my feels like we are watching kids in a school yard. Part of my feels like well at least we are giving as good as we are getting.

Meanwhile across the board all the players of both codes seem just happy to talk pay rises.

I am actually pretty curious what they would be chatting about though, if the deal was completely done already - what could it actually be about?

Don't be annoying. He can play for both countries like Brad Thorn did

Coming here as a child and coming here as an adult and representing another nation against Australia is two completely different things. Good luck to NAS if he wants to play union

So would u ban Koroibete from representing Australia in 2023 RWC? Who is your substitute? Lachie Anderson?

That's all, mate. Don't give reasons to @RugbyReg to ban me from the forum
