Sounds a genuine chance Eddie isn't coach after the WC. I wrote it off as noise previously but with the constant questions, rumours etc. starting to think where there's smoke...

I just want to know why the messaging is so confused. Are they throwing away this WC or not? Is 23 the priority or 27? The smartarse responses and lack of clarity have worn thin personally.

I think it’s just Eddie taking attention and pressure off the players. There is too much ego on his side to not want to take on the Lions and coach a home world cup

It could be a black eye if it’s set up, few attend and it’s reported in the press. Probably better to promote existing establishments (pub, club, casino) and have a camera there to cut to when something happens

Assume you mean won't be able to play for the Baa Baas if announced beforehand, KOB?

Can easily see him get a short run for the Baa Baas and then off the France the next day for a couple of training sessions with the Wallabies and then into the starting 15 for Portugal. Lenny won't need a lot of time to get up to the mark with the Wallabies, but I think Eddie will need more time to get up to scratch with Len.

However, lose to Wales on Monday and it will all be for nothing.
