Manly is an odd one right now with 2nd Grade doing really well. Only loss was on the weekend by 5 to undefeated Easts but 1st Grade is being belted and seemingly won't tackle with 27 being the lowest conceded score.

Few of those 2nd graders should be in 1st Grade. Resume means dick with those results. Might be a reason why Clubs haven't retained the blokes before.

Unless Manly have shifted this year from being faders after a hot start you'd say they're done. Too many sides are going to put 30+ on them the way they defend. Big part of defence is attitude along with fitness.

Does anyone know why darby lancaster doesnt play any super rugby? He scored 5 tries for easts last week, one of the better wingers we have seen through the wallabies program yet still playing at local levels, i heard he got snagged by the Tahs but havent seen him play there and have recently watched him play at easts.

East won 66-5 easy game for a winger lol
He’s average in super rugby, been given all these big wraps and hasn’t performed when given opportunities. Watched him play against one of those NZ sides when he got concussed, players running over him, and defence was bog, so many try’s have been scored on the side he defends on

The (female) ref for the Gordon - Manly game was miked up and seriously impressive in her composure, use of ARs and firm communication with the teams and what was at time a pretty feisty game. Not knowing anything about her, I wasn't surprised to read she's reffing in the next women's world cup. So good to see,

West Harbour scored the quickest try I have ever seen, I think the commentator (Dan Parks, incidentally) said it was 16 seconds!!


The Woodies recovered and had a fairly good win.

Agree. She communicates really clearly and seemed to have decent control of the game. A few of the Super Rugby officials could learn a few things by watching her.
